Steve Minichiello began his professional life as a classroom teacher,
then moved into comic strip writing and radio and television production.
He has written and produced for WBZ-TV, WGBH-TV (PBS) and WCVB-TV, Boston,
including the critically acclaimed newsmagazine, Chronicle.
His television productions have ranged from documentaries on teen violence
and HIV/AIDS to a half hour survey of the local arts scene to a multi-part
news series on the Beatles. He has won two Emmy Awards and was nominated
for seven others.
Minichiello's 26-part radio series, Beatles Forever, was nationally
syndicated. The weekly comic strip, Biography, he wrote with cartoonist
John Roman appeared in 116 American newspapers and in 18 countries abroad.
It received a Golden Press Award.
Minichiello is currently Executive Producer of Fast Forward Productions,
a video production group specializing in corporate & social marketing
videos. He is also an adjunct faculty member in the Communication Department
at Worcester State College.
